Our mission is to provide dental care of the highest quality, customized according to your needs, in a pleasant environment.
Restorative dentistry is restoring decayed teeth in order to bring them back to their best functional and aesthetic health. It also includes the repair or replacement of damaged or defective teeth.
Before any work is done an x-ray of the area would be taken. If there is a recent x-ray, the dentist reviews them to establish a treatment plan.
Once that is done and the area is numb the dentist will begin by removing the decay. Then a filling is used to fill in the area of a tooth that has been drilled out (the cavity).
Services and dental care: Adults and children
North Central Dental is a comprehensive care centre for both children and adults. Our goal is to help patients maintain excellent oral health.
Our prevention program is the result of many years in the dental field and the collaboration of each patient, dentist, and dental team. Measures to prevent dental diseases start at home with daily hygiene and continue in office with regular checkups, cleanings, and xrays.
A veneer is an enhancement used on a tooth to improve it’s cosmetic appearance and protect the worn out and damaged surface. Often a veneer is a permanent solution that can last several years! There are two types of facets: Composite veneers and porcelain veneers.
A composite veneer covers the visible part of the tooth and adheres chemically, usually with composite material. It is layered on each tooth, using chemical agents to solidify the bond between the tooth and the restoration. A composite veneer is made chair-side and can be done in one session.
A porcelain veneer is a covering of porcelain that is affixed to the visible surface of the tooth by cementation. A porcelain veneer is made in the laboratory to fit and gives a more natural and lustrous appearance. Generally porcelain veneers are more durable than a composite facet.
